Wednesday Jul 25, 2018
In this special show from this year's BE Festival 2018 we catch a glimpse of the City's annual celebration of arts, performance, theatre and dance as it reflects the soul of Europe in the heart of Birmingham. I quiz Kulu Orr on his mastery of gadgets and sound through performance piece 'Control Freak', seek comfort from the edges of danger as I explore the art of taking care of yourself with Marc Oosterhoff and gaze at the one-man- all audience musical threatrical spectacular that is Paul O'Donnell's 'We've got each other'.
BE Festival 2018 is produced by The Brimigham Repertory Theatre annually in July and is an innovative programme of theatre, dance, comedy, circus, music, visual, performing arts, workshops and backstage events. BE Festival is supported by Arts Council England, the Jerwood Charitable Trust and a number of European embassies and cultural institutes- For more information go to befestival.org
